Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (Movie Review)

Hello everyone! Its been a few posts since the last movie review. Today, I will be reviewing: Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. This movie is the sequel to Godzilla vs Kong, the seventh movie from the MonsterVerse. But if you pay attention to the title, it seems that Godzilla & Kong are allies, instead of adversaries. I think I have your attention right now, so, let's get started!

3. Review

Few things you might need to consider:
  1. Many scenes depicted creatures fighting against each other violently
  2. Creatures are seen severely with a bloody wound.
  3. Few intense and frightening scenes throughout the movies
  4. Characters sometimes cuss
What I personally like:
  1. This movie delivers an astounding fighting scene.
  2. The CGI and overall the animation & visuals are beyond golden.
  3. The effects added are up to scratch.
  4. Although this might sound bias, I'm glad the actors could delivered their acts gracefully.
4. Actors & Directors

  • Kaylee Hottle: Jia
  • Rebecca Hall: Dr. Ilene Andre
  • Dan Stevens: Trapper
  • Brian Tyree Henry: Bernie Hayes
  • Fala Chen: Iwi
5. Conclusion
I've always liked the MonsterVerse since my childhood, for plenty of reasons, one of them is although they have violence in it, they don't overdone or underdone it. I can relate hating a fighting scene just because it is ovelry done. Also, they always explicitly remind us to preserve nature & local tribe. Last but not least, it's the exceptional animation and visuals! Love it!

Thank you for reading this review! Ciao!
