Book Review pt.4: The Inheritance Games (By: Jennifer Lynn Barnes)

Okay, so if you've read most of my book reccomendation, you get that I like Crime Novels. Starting from Karen M.Mcmanus, Agatha christie, etc. But a few months ago (like 6?), I found myself scrolling over YA Fiction. I am a newbie at fiction, so I buy what most people buy (I guess it's kind of foolproof). And the decision goes to The Inheritance Games. So, if you are now deciding whether to buy it or not, then read this!

Review
One word: Old Money. If you want to get on the trend and you ended up keening it, maybe you should read this book. For me, the author has a way with words. Somehow it could be written so elegant, witty, and sharp. And if you're a love-triangle trope lovers, than this is perfect for you. It follows Avery whom fall in a really big question of which man shall she love. With a splash of drama, mystery, and a tint of thriller, you'll easily love this book. The twist are unbelievable and I know for sure that the author's a genius for thinking all of those puzzles Avery must solve.

Although, I would like to adress a little critics. Okay, I'm not trying to be bias but honestly, I despise love triangle. I don't hate them all the time, but this one has an impression of cheap.... But what minimize the point of the book for me is that the story has a characterization lack. On the beggining, Avery is this striving girl with high dignity. But then, once the princess arrived to the castle: BOOM! She's suddenly this princess diary girl who'd only thinks about looks and men. It's mildly confusing. This doesn't only happen to Avery, it also happens to the Hawthorne Brothers, Libby, etc.

But overall this book is really good. It's fast read and all. If you want to read it, it's fine. But surely not a book to spent your time with. Ciao for now!
