2024 in 6 months! Let's work on your resolution!

Hey, have you ever feel like you spend more time writing your resolution rather than actually doing it? Well, I just want to inform you that you don't need to write your resolution exactly before new year! You could make it 6 months before. Now, it maybe a challenge since I had a problem writing what I want to do! But, I'll help you! Scroll down!

1. FROM YOUR AESTHETIC
Okay, I think we all had an aesthetic. If you don't know yours, you could take quiz on the internet. Or yould just basically scroll social media and search which one caught your eyes. For example, your aesthetic is cottagecore. Then you could maybe do something cottagecor-y for your 2024 resolution. Example of cottagecore activity: gardening, baking breads, or just promise yourself you would dress up more cottagecore for the year. Apply it to your aesthetic! Other activity: making journals based on your aesthetic and take picture of your aesthetic activity and post it on social media!

2. FROM PERSON YOU IDOLIZE/ADMIRE

I have a friend and she used to have the biggest crush on a K-POP member. It turns out that this dude could play piano, so she started to take lesson on piano and she eventually become great at it. And before you ask, yes, you could take it from imaginary characters you keen on. I seldom watch anime/cartoon. But I think every character have something that they are good at. Like sports, music, arts, etc. Using person you idolize would boost your courage more on learning.

3. FROM YOUR GOAL (FUTURE JOBS)
When talking about dream jobs, we tend to ponder what we actually want to do. If you could relate, you want to be something but that's not what society expect from you. And it's okay! Hopefully, you still have time to think which one you should feed more, yourself or other people? If you have a dream of becoming a painter, you could start taking lesson or upload tutorial/picture of your arts on internet (people will appreciate it!). Now, if your society have different hopes on you, you have to choose which one you want to focus more. Ex; Your dream as a hobby, and your society expectation is a must to learn (or the opposite).

4. STOP OVERTHINKING

Never said, "you never know what overthinking is like." to me. Because apparently, I am one. But I learn, that if every step you take feed your fear, you'll do nothing. If you are afraid people will judge of your hobby, then listen to the critics they adress (ignore the haters). As a saying said: Haters only hate you because you are someone they expected to be. It's not really your fault you are good at things, right? And if you are afraid people will take credits of your art, then write your name on your art before posting it. Mitigate problem= less overthinking.

Thank you for reading my blog. See you next time! Ciao!
